From the heart of Napa Valley, we partner with passionate growers in Carneros, Sta. Rita Hills, Clarksburg, and the North Coast to craft expressive, small-lot wines that punch way above their weight.

This is the Signature line that started it all. Lloyd by Robert Lloyd is our flagship label, showcasing Rob’s bold, unapologetic winemaking style. The Carneros Chardonnay is rich and layered, with vibrant fruit, generous oak, and serious staying power – an unapologetically big expression of California Chardonnay. Our Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir brings deep color and structure, delivering bold, dark fruit and complexity in every sip. These wines are a vivid reflection of Rob’s palate – and the reason he started Lloyd Cellars in the first place.

Prescription Vineyards

Prescription Vineyards is our sister label – crafted with surgical focus and California attitude. It’s where structure meets style, and where every bottle is designed to deliver exceptional quality at an everyday price. The Chardonnay is citrus-forward with bright acidity and a kiss of oak – clean, refreshing, and endlessly drinkable. The Cabernet Sauvignon brings bold structure and dark fruit, wrapped in smooth tannins for a classic California finish. These are wines that don’t just hit – they resonate.

Rob Lloyd doesn’t follow trends – he follows his instincts. With a career that includes La Crema and Rombauer, Rob blends technical mastery with a deep love for California’s diverse wine regions. His approach is grounded in trusting the vineyard, leaning into the natural expression of the fruit, and crafting wines with depth, richness, and balance.

We work hand-in-hand with top growers from Carneros, Sta. Rita Hills, Clarksburg, and the Alexander Valley to source fruit that reflects the unique character of each AVA. Every bottle is the result of collaboration, care, and an unwavering commitment to making wines that are expressive, full of personality, and unmistakably Californian.
