The 7th Annual Yountville Int’l Short Film Festival (YISFF) returns February 1st – 4th, 2024, offering 20 dedicated screening blocks, filmmaker Q&A sessions, and VIP wine-tasting events. The festival will screen over 100 films at two pop-up cinemas: the Yountville Community Center’s Heritage Room; and The Estate Yountville’s Barrell Room. The Heritage Room will once again offer the comfort of cabaret-style seating and host our special VIP Wine Events.
“We look forward to finalizing our VIP wine-tasting screening schedule in the coming weeks. These events include Cuvée Cinema, Cabernet Cinema, The Art of Cinema featuring the wines of Winemaker Robert Lloyd: Lloyd Cellars, Prescription Vineyards, Jessup Cellars, and Handwritten Wines, plus Sunday’s Bubbles & Brunch Cinema,” said YISFF co-founder and co-producer Bill Hargreaves. “Our A Taste of Cinema screening showcases films having culinary themes. YISFF Opening Night is at 7pm on Thursday at the Heritage Room in downtown Yountville.”
With 20 dedicated screening blocks, from animation and suspense to fantasy and science fiction, to the best in drama and foreign film selections, the 7th Annual YISFF will deliver many special cinematic moments. Sponsored by the Town of Yountville and its world-class lodging establishments, the festival features an incredible lineup of imagination-stretching short films from around the globe, shown over four days. The filmmaker Q&A sessions will offer behind-the-scenes stories of the filmmaking process after many of the film blocks.
